the zealnd envirment the verry calm as there are not meany agressive speacise but dose get quite stormy and makes it hard to survive as storms can last days and if you dont have eny way to cook food when its wet or keep try your as good as dead so its important to make sure you have a shelter set up to keep the wind and rain of you. you can allso take shelter in cave but they are quite rair and are cold and damp so you will need a fire to keep warm and dry.
when it comes to sea life zealand is full of it and not all of it is good as there are meany sharks that would love to take get a nibble out of you when you jump in the water to make shure you dont become lunch you will need to make a boat. boats allso let you travel fast on the water can you can catch big fish the further you go out. but dont get lost at sea as if you get cought in a storm the winds can take you off track and can drag you kilmeters away from your base.
there are 5 diffrent wether types that can happen and each one has a variation depending on how strong they are.

there are allso rare natural evens that can happen like a cyclone, earthquake or tornatos and these evens can durasticly effect the players bace as they can deal damage to structures.
there are 4 seasons that happen winter, spring, summer and autumn these events can effect crops and some birds as they migrate. in winter it will actuly snow and animals and plants will become scarce. during seasons there are allso events that happen at the same time every year.
days are 30 minnets and nights are 15 this can vary depending on what season it is.
